Prayers For 2016 General Conference

Please pray for Pastor Doug Damron and all of the 864 delegates from around the globe who will gather May 9-20 in Portland, Oregon for the 2016 General Conference of the United Methodist Church. The General Conference is the highest legislative body in our denomination. This body gathers for nearly two weeks of committee work, plenary sessions, and worship as the conference prayerfully consider our church’s stance on pressing social issues, the structure of our denomination, mission emphasis, strategic initiatives, and the denomination’s budget to be set for the next four years. Pastor Doug is one of the 16 delegates (8 lay and 8 clergy) representing our West Ohio Conference. Pray also for the Damron family during his absence. Thank you!
