At Epworth Early Learning Center (ELC), we highly value and encourage parental involvement in the activities and affairs of our center. We firmly believe that a collaborative partnership between parents and educators significantly enriches the learning experience for children. As such, we extend an open invitation to parents, granting them unrestricted access to all areas of our facility during operating hours.
Parents are warmly welcomed to participate in various events and occasions hosted at our center, including field trips, class celebrations, special luncheons, and daily activities. Your presence not only enhances the joy of these moments but also fosters a sense of community within our ELC family.
Recognizing the importance of effective communication, our dedicated teachers remain readily available to engage in discussions regarding your child's progress, developmental milestones, or any concerns you may have. While we strive to accommodate impromptu inquiries, we kindly request that parents schedule appointments for more extensive conversations. This ensures that our educators can allocate dedicated time and attention to address your queries comprehensively, without compromising their responsibilities towards other children under their care.
Moreover, we encourage parents to proactively communicate any concerns as they arise. We firmly believe that early intervention plays a pivotal role in resolving minor issues before they escalate into significant challenges. By fostering an environment of open dialogue and mutual trust, we aim to cultivate a strong and harmonious relationship between our staff and the families we serve.
At Epworth ELC, we understand the profound trust you place in us as caretakers of your little ones. It is our unwavering commitment to uphold this trust by nurturing a positive and supportive partnership with each and every parent. Together, we endeavor to create a nurturing and enriching environment where every child can thrive and reach their fullest potential.
At Epworth Early Learning Center, we pride ourselves on our comprehensive approach to education, integrating a blend of esteemed methodologies to provide a rich and nurturing environment for our young learners. Central to our curriculum is the acclaimed Creative Curriculum, a dynamic framework that champions exploration and discovery as fundamental pathways to knowledge acquisition. Through hands-on engagement with their surroundings, children cultivate not only knowledge but also confidence, creativity, and the essential skills of critical thinking that will serve them throughout their lives.
Moreover, we augment this educational foundation with a daily infusion of biblical teachings and principles drawn from Epworth UMC’s Sunday School curriculum, as well as the enriching Learning Beyond Paper program. By weaving these spiritual and educational threads together, we create a holistic learning experience that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit of each child in our care.
Our dedicated staff embody the values of love, compassion, and faith as they guide and mentor our students. Through engaging Bible stories, uplifting songs, and heartfelt prayers, we introduce children to the teachings of the Bible and instill in them a deep sense of connection to their faith. Furthermore, we foster a culture of kindness and generosity, teaching children to emulate God’s love by sharing with others and showing kindness in their daily interactions.
At Epworth Early Learning Center, we are committed to not only providing a top-tier education but also nurturing the spiritual and moral development of each child. Through our integrated approach to learning, we aim to empower young minds, cultivate compassionate hearts, and inspire a lifelong love of learning and faith.
