ELC has been serving the community and families with young children for over 40 years. We are a private, Christian, non-profit early education center. We offer multiple programs that include a preschool program and a toddler program, Children's Day Out. Our Early Learning Center offers half day sessions for children ages 2-5. We are licensed by the State of Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. The laws and rules governing child care are available for your review upon request. Our center’s licensing records are available upon request including but are not limited to compliance reports and evaluation forms from the health department, building inspection department and fire departments. The Ohio Department of Job & Family Services toll free number is 1-866-635-37489. Any person may use this number to report a violation by any center.
Our curriculum provides thematic units, weekly lesson plans, crafts, circle time with story, large group learning, direct teacher instruction through small groups, creative time with free art, group music, gross motor play time, and a variety of other manipulatives. Teachers are certified through ODJFS and complete professional development hours each year.

We believe the Epworth Early Learning Center should:

Facilities include:
1)Engaging classroom environment, 2) Enrichment room (additional classroom with supplemental activites) 3) Children's Church for group music and dancing. 4) Indoor Gym for large muscle play 5) Fenced Outdoor Playground with grassy area, paved area for bikes/chalk, and play structures

We are located at 3077 Valley View Drive. Open Weekdays office hours, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. We are located inside of Epworth United Methodist Church. We have been operating for over 40 years and we are licensed through the State of Ohio. We are licensed for 127 children in our building from ages 2 years – 5 years old.
