The Epworth Furniture Ministry continues in the same spirit of compassion, concern and connection. This ministry was created to provide good used furniture and basic household items to families in our community who are in need.
Epworth began collecting gently used furniture in 2009. Since then, thousands of pieces of furniture have been given to hundreds of families with the help of partner agencies such as Leading Families Home, the YWCA, the Friendly Center and others. Volunteers are always needed to organize our Perrysburg warehouse, to work with our clients on Selection Saturdays, and to pick up furniture as a “Free Loader”.
